Beyond the seams with Constanzia

We'd like to introduce you to Constanzia, one of our arkitaip girls who's been there right from the start. Ever since, she's been supporting us with her passionate, humble being, giving our creations a face. 

We sat down with Constanzia to find out what she hates, loves and dreams about. And the best thing is, she shared the recipe of her grandma's dreamy chocolate fondant with us ...

Hey Constanzia, please tell us a bit about yourself. 

Hey! I’m Constanzia - I grew up all over Europe and am currently living in Vienna where I’m working on developing my passion - architecture. My goal for the years to come is to not sit still! 

How did your journey with arkitaip begin?

Surrounded by amazing people.

What do you want to be when you grow up?


Dream escape?

Brasilia is high up on my list of next travel destinations.

Something you love about yourself?

I have pretty feet!

Any weird habits?

The love of strong french cheese in the morning is weird, non? 

What’s your favourite food?

Passion fruits.

Your girl crush?

Ruby Rose.

What song do you currently boogie to?

Dp, Dan Bodan.

Three people alive or dead that you’d like to have dinner with?

Louise Bourgeois, Egon Schiele, Serge Gainsbourg - and Oscar Niemeyer (thats four.. but what an interesting mix!)

What’s your favourite flower/plant?

The weeping willow, since I was a kid.

What was the funniest and/or weirdest moment on set?

Probably the lovely Alice using a bird sculpture as a phone for a picture.

What’s your favourite book?

La carte et le territoire (The map and the Territory) by Michel Houellebecq.

Are you a heels-or flats-girl?


If you had a tattoo, what would it be?

A Joshua tree.

What’s the weirdest word in your language?

Knautschzone and Saperlipopette. I grew up bilingual ...

What inspires you?

The pattern of cloud shadows on the earth and warm wind.

On a scale of 1-10, how excited are you about your life right now?

10! Always! Because I’m fortunate enough that I can say I’m living a lot of my dreams ...

Your favourite colour?

Grey.. is that a colour?

What’s your contribution to stopping the environmental crisis?

No half empty laundries, taking public transport, buying fairly produced products.

Fun fact about you?

I frequently dance after showering.

If you had one superpower what would it be?

The ability to travel to past centuries.

Which three adjectives describe you best?

Passionate. Curious. Impulsive.

What’s your favourite smell?

The pre-storm smell.

What’s your biggest concern?

Not having enough time.

Best advice you were ever given?

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self (thank you, Hemingway). 

Now, last but not least, please draw yourself. 

Fondant au chocolat de ma grand-mère (for six)

4 eggs, 120g of powder sugar, 100g butter, 200g black chocolate.

Pre heat the oven (180 degrees), melt chocolate and butter in a bowl, mix sugar and eggs in another bowl, mix everything together and put it in a form. Now, put it in the oven for 20 mins - enjoy when cold (and still a bit liquid).
