Last month, I married the love of my life. After almost nine years together, Mana and I decided to say yes to each other - officially and surrounded by the people we love. It was an imperfectly perfect weekend, with the right amount of chaos, which, in a way, is exactly how we go through life. Because there was loads of linen, I wanted to bring you along for a little bit of it.

The Dinner & Party

For the dinner & party, we chose an open-air amphitheatre on the island, set within a pine forest with breath-taking views over the sea.

For the party, our friend Rosbeh played piano blended with electronic music, easing us from dinner into the party. From there, my husband’s brother Brando and his cousin Federico, both DJs, took over and played an incredible eight-hour set that carried us through the night until sunrise.

THE DRESS

Here's the part I've been dying to tell you: my dress was a custom arkitaip x Magdalena Studio collaboration. I knew two things going in - it had to be linen, and it had to have a corset (making one is basically an art form, so I called in an expert).

What we landed on was simple: a corset and a maxi panelled skirt, made from arkitaip linen. One dress, comfortable enough to be worn from ceremony to sunrise.

THE DRESS CODE

The dress code was a cheeky nod to arkitaip: "Island chic - linen preferred ;)"… I was over the moon to see so many guests in arkitaip on the day - which to me, felt like a quiet tribute to my mum, the brand's co-founder, whose presence I truly felt throughout.
