Hi India, we're so excited to chat with you today!
Can you give us a little intro to your universe?
Thanks so much for having me! I am based in London, where I live with my fiancé (we're getting married pretty soon now!). I'm a freelancer wearing a number of hats - I share lifestyle, fashion and travel content on my Instagram @theindiaedit, I am sometimes behind the lens as a photographer or creative director too.
You live south of Battersea Power Station in London -
what do you love most about your neighbourhood?
I love how functional it is - I can get to Central London in minutes with the new Northern Line extension and I love my flat! The area has some gorgeous pockets too - I adore the Georgian architecture and local green space.
Describe your neighbourhood in three words:
Eclectic, undiscovered, evolving.
What’s your go-to breakfast spot?
District near the US embassy - it's a great Aussie brunch spot.
Best place for coffee?
Lane Eight Coffee in Clapham Old Town.
What’s your favourite place for a low-key lunch?
Italo near Vauxhall - it feels like you're on holiday!
And for a romantic dinner/drinks?
We love Brunswick House at Vauxhall - we actually went there the night after we got engaged with friends so it holds very happy memories.
Any shops we absolutely can’t miss?
I find myself spending a lot of money at Trude’s in Clapham - a dreamy grocery store.
Best place for a good sweat?
Basic Space - it's such a hidden gem of a yoga + Pilates studio. I'm so grateful to have it nearby.
And for self-care?
I've been visiting Zara at All About You Salon for years. She is fab.
Any hidden gems that you’d like to share with us?
I'm dying to try Archway in Battersea - a new Italian spot that looks super chic. The Garden Cafe towards Lambeth is also a total gem!
