What to pack for a long weekend
A spring long weekend is the perfect excuse to get away - a little sunshine, a change of scene, and just enough time to reset.
Packing for it, though, can be less straightforward. One minute it’s sunny, the next you need an extra layer. The key is to pack light, but pack smart: versatile pieces you can layer, rewear, and style differently throughout the weekend.
Here’s what we’d bring:
A pair of comfortable, airy trousers
The Lena Wide-Leg Trousersare the kind of piece that works whatever the day brings. Comfortable for travel, easy during the day, and polished enough for dinner. Light enough for sunshine, but still perfect with extra layers when it cools down.
A top that does more than one job
The Livia Mini Tunicis one of our favourite multi-taskers. Wear it on its own, layer it over theLena Trousers, or style it with a knit thrown over your shoulders for those in-between temperatures.
A sarong with many lives
A good sarong always earns its place in your suitcase. Wear it as a wrap, use it as a beach layer, drape it over your shoulders when the breeze picks up, or keep it nearby as a towel or blanket for slower afternoons outdoors.
A day-to-night camisole
The Nicola Camisole Topis the kind of piece that makes packing easier. Wear it with jeans or linen trousers during the day, then style it with the Carrie Ruffled Maxi Skirtin the evening for a more elevated look.

A cap for shade and sun protection
The Gratitude Cap is an easy addition that brings both function and ease - ideal for travel days, city walks, and long afternoons in the sun.
A pouch for all the important bits
Phone, passport, camera, SPF, lip balm, charger - this linen pouch keeps everything together, like a true travel companion.
A few extras we'd like to add
A light knit, an extra layer, a bandanathat doubles as a scarf, a cute necklace to elevate your outfits, swimwear (just in case), and a book for the journey.

Our book recommendation
Nesting by Roisín O’Donnell- a gripping read, and easy to slip into over a long weekend away.
