I recently had the pleasure of discovering Sifnos and absolutely fell in love with it, so I thought I’d share my favourite spots with you. Nestled in the western part of the Greek Cyclades, it’s one of the lesser-known islands, making it a true gem to explore.
Sifnos has the traditional charm of the Cycladic architecture, characterised by the simple whitewashed walls and blue-domed roofs while remaining less crowded and peaceful than some of the more popular neighbouring islands like Antiparos and Milos.
What makes Sifnos truly special is its incredible culinary scene, secluded beaches and mountainous landscape, which are great for hiking, with trails leading to ancient ruins, cute villages, and breathtaking sea views. In short, Sifnos is a calm oasis that embodies the essence of my dream holiday.
